Engility wins $16.8M contract to support VA IT office

Engility has won a $16.8 million contract to support the Veterans Affairs Department’s Office of Information and Technology.

The company said in a release that VA OI&T oversees and facilitates Information Technology activities for the VA, improving the effectiveness of program operations and assisting line and staff organizations in performing their missions.

Under the firm-fixed-price contract, Engility till provide operations, enhancements and maintenance of the Budget Tracking Tool, which is a government-owned off-the-shelf application that was ported to the VA in 2005. It supports the planning, programming, budget and execution lifecycle.

The tool is also used by the Internal Revenue Service, the company said.
