ManTech Systems Engineering Corp. has been awarded a $12 million option to support the Navy Ship Maintenance and Logistics Information Systems (SMLIS) program.
The SMLIS program supports U.S. Navy shore-based maintenance and logistics information technology systems that used to support a wide variety of business processes at the naval shipyards, regional maintenance facilities, ship repair facilities, and NAVSEA headquarters, according to a FedBizOpps notice.
Under the option, ManTech will provide systems operation, sustainment and support services. This will include information technology life cycle planning, operations and sustainment, program management, application technical refresh and training, the Defense Department said in a release.
Work is expected to be completed in November 2016.
