IT jobs continue to rise in June

Information technology jobs have continued the trend of tepid growth from last month, according to a report from TechServe Alliance.

For the month of June, the uptick in IT-related jobs was 0.2 percent, with the number of jobs reaching 5.1 million. The prior month, jobs grew by 0.3 percent, with the number of jobs reaching close to 5 million.

Engineering job growth also continued in May, but only barely, growing by 0.04 percent, bringing the total number of jobs to 2.5 million.
