GSA plans shared-services industry day

The General Services Administration is reaching out to contractors to talk about the evolution of shared services in the government market.
The event is planned for Aug. 22 at GSA headquarters at 1800 F Street NW in Washington, D.C.
The United Shared Services Management Office is hosting the event.
Topics to be discussed include the modernization and migration management framework, known as M3. ProviderStat also will be a topic. ProviderStat is a performance standard to measure the performance of shared-services provider.
GSA also plans to discussion acquisition issues related to shared services.
The agency is looking for feedback and information on best practices from industry.
Companies can send no more than two participants.
