American Systems wins $85M T&E contract

American Systems Corp. has won an $85 million contract to provide the Air Force with operational test and evaluation services.

The services are related to fourth- and fifth-generation fighter systems and programs and include a range of engineering, technical and analytical test services, the Defense Department said in a release.

Work will be performed at Edwards Air Force Base, Calif., and Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., and is expected to be completed in June 2021.

Two companies bid on this contract, which was contracted out by the Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center, the Defense Department said.
