Praxis Engineering Technologies wins $12.6M R&D contract

Praxis Engineering Technologies has won a $12.6 million contract to provide research and development to help the Air Force with its signal efficiency.

Praxis Engineering Technologies has won a $12.6 million contract to provide research and development to help the Air Force with its signal efficiency.

Under the contract, Praxis will help the Air Force determine what to compute from signals emitted by a device during training and testing. The company will also help remove interference from other devices in the vicinity to make the signal clearer.

Work will be performed at Annapolis Junction, Md., and is expected to be completed in July 2020.

Forty-five companies bid on this contract, and only Praxis Engineering Technologies and one other bidder have won contracts so far.

The contract was let by the Air Force Research Laboratory.
