Northrop Grumman wins $83.4M contract mod to continue UAV support

Northrop Grumman Technical Services has won an $83.4 million contract modification to continue providing logistic support for the Army’s Hunter unmanned aircraft system.

Northrop Grumman Technical Services has won an $83.4 million contract modification to continue providing logistic support for the Army’s Hunter unmanned aircraft system.

The Hunter UAV is deployed at various Army facilities in the United States and overseas. It is a long-endurance, medium altitude, multimission tactical unmanned aircraft system optimized to provide Army division and corps commanders with an ISR capability, according to Northrop Grumman's website.

Work will be performed in Sierra Vista, Ariz., and Afghanistan and is expected to be completed in October 2016.
