Splunk names new president and CEO
Splunk Inc. has appointed Doug Merritt to replace Godfrey Sullivan as the company’s president and chief executive officer.
Splunk Inc. has appointed Doug Merritt to replace Godfrey Sullivan as the company’s president and chief executive officer.
Merritt will also serve on the company’s board of directors.
Before replacing Sullivan, who is planning to retire, Merritt was the senior vice president, Field Operations.
Before Splunk, Merrit served as senior vice president of products and solutions marketing at Cisco Systems. He was once CEO of Baynote Inc. He has also held positions at SAP A.G., PeopleSoft Inc., and Icarian Inc.
