Constellis makes international move with Olive Group acquisition

Constellis Group has added the Olive Group into its family of companies focused on providing training, security, support and advisory services.

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed but the deal brings more commercial infrastructure customers to Constellis and is complementary to its Triple Canopy company, the company said in a release.

Constellis Group companies deliver complementary advisory, security, training and managed support services to governments, multinational corporations and international organizations worldwide.

Middle East-based Olive Group provides innovative risk management solutions including security, program management, life support and technology solutions to blue chip commercial customers in the energy, aviation and infrastructure arenas.

The company has more than 5,000 employees in 20 countries on five continents, the company said.

Olive Group founders Chris and David St. George will join Contellis Group’s board of directors, and Olive Group’s shareholders will maintain a significant ownership of the combined company.

Michael Rudd will continue as Olive Group’s managing director.

Other companies in Constellis' portfolio include ACADEMI, Edinburgh International and Strategic Social. Constellis' headquarters are in Reston, Va.
