Engility appoints new co-chairman of board

Engility has named David Savner to be co-chairman following the closing of the company’s acquisition of TASC Inc. in the first quarter of 2015.

Savner will serve as non-executive co-chairman along with Peter Marino, current TASC chairman. They will succeeds current Engility chairman Pete Boykin, who has chosen to not stand for reelection to the board. In addition to Savner, Engility will conduct a search for an additional board member to replace Boykin, Engility said in a release.

Savner is a partner with the law firm Jenner & Block LLP. Before Jenner & Block, he worked as senior vice president, general counsel and secretary of General Dynamics.
