Paragon nabs $11M option for program management office support

Contract awarded on Oct. 1

Paragon Technology Group has won a $11.3 million option to provide the U.S. Transportation Command with program management office support.

Under the contract, Paragon will provide program control, resource management, requirements management, configuration management, test and evaluation, systems engineering, security engineering, program management support, IT administrative support and acquisition support, the Defense Department said.

Work will be performed at Scott Air Force Base, III., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2014.

Funding in the amount of $11 million is obligated at the time of the award, and will expire at the end of fiscal 2014.

This contract was originally awarded on Oct. 1, 2013, but due to the government shutdown, it was not announced until today.
