Lockheed Martin releases teaming info under $4.1B Army contract

Team specializes in communications infrastructure capabilities

Lockheed Martin has released its teaming information under the $4.1 billion contract that it won with the U.S. Army in late September.

Lockheed’s team on the contract includes:

  • Globecomm
  • Inmarsat Government-US
  • Hughes Network Systems.

Each of the companies will provide specific communications infrastructure capabilities that are critical to the Project Manager, Defense Communications and Army Transmission System contract, Lockheed Martin said.

The contract is meant to supply the Army with communications and transmission services to help it improve its battlefield communications.

It aims to enable battle space information dominance, according to Centurion Research Solutions.
