CACI International is being sued for terminating a subcontract with Engineering Solutions & Products LLC after the latter had become a prime, and thus a competitor to CACI, under an Army program, according to FedBiz Daily.
The New Jersey-based firm filed a complaint with the U.S. District Court in Alexandria which stated that CACI terminated the contract without cause.
ESP was a subcontractor to CACI under the Army’s Strategic Services Sourcing program, and once it gained a prime spot on this contract through the acquisition of certain assets of USfalcon Inc., CACI terminated the contract and began recruiting ESP’s employees, FedBiz Daily reported.
