Buyer: Novetta Solutions
Sellers/Targets: International Biometric Group, White Cliffs Consulting and FGM Inc.
Value: $26 million for White Cliffs Consulting; data not available for the other two
Closing dates: Sept. 20 for International Biometric, Aug. 27 for White Cliffs and March 21 for FGM
Why: Novetta Solutions was born in March when the private equity group Arlington Capital acquired FGM and promptly merged it with White Oak Technologies, a company it had acquired previously. A buying spree ensued with two more deals in the next six months. Novetta has quickly become a recognized provider of data analytics, identity intelligence and cybersecurity services to intelligence, defense and homeland security customers.
