Booz Allen gets more Navy work

Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. has won a $10.7 million contract modification from the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division to provide various technical and engineering services.

Under the modification, the McLean, Va., contractor will furnish a wide range of support services to address various technical, engineering and management needs of the NAWCAD's Special Communications Requirements Division, the Defense Department said Dec. 4.

The company will perform the work at Lexington Park, Md., and St. Inigoes, Md., where the Naval Air Station Patuxent River complex is located, DOD said. The complex has facilities to accommodate work on aircraft systems and weapons.

Booz Allen ranks No. 11 on Washington Technology's 2008 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
