SRC wins SPAWAR technology services deal

Scientific Research Corp. will provide advanced technology services to the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center in Charleston, S.C., under a new $40.2 million contract.

Under the terms of the agreement, SRC will perform various tasks related to program management, systems and software engineering, technical studies and analysis, and modeling and simulation, the Defense Department said Thursday. The company also will assist with development and modernization, integration and testing, and life-cycle planning and support.

The one-year indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract has four one-year options. If all options are exercised, the contract could be worth as much as $211.2 million, DOD said. The company will perform the work in Charleston.

SRC, of Atlanta, specializes in engineering, integration, testing, and research and development services. The company's work involves information technology, communications, intelligence, electronic warfare, simulation and training, and instrumentation systems.
