SRA gets AF transport command work

SRA International Inc. will provide new critical infrastructure support to the Air Force Transportation Command under a competitive task order awarded by the General Services Administration Federal Supply Schedule. The contract has a potential value of $9.8 million over four and a half years.

Under the new contract, SRA will continue to provide program management, critical infrastructure asset identification, risk management, vulnerability assessments, database management and exercise support services.

The SRA team includes CMW and Associates Inc., a Springfield, Ill., 8(a) certified woman-owned company specializing in information assurance; and C5T Corp., a small-business provider of operational support to DOD clients based in Shiloh, Ill.

The Transportation Command's critical infrastructure program seeks to ensure the worldwide availability of needed air, road and sea-related materials to support Defense Department requirements in war and peacetime, SRA said.

SRA has provided critical infrastructure program services to the Transportation Command since 1999.

SRA International of Fairfax, Va., ranks No. 33 on Washington Technology's 2007 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
