ACS won a contract renewal from the Idaho Public Employee Retirement System to continue providing a wide array of outsourced services.

Affiliated Computer Services Inc. won a three-year, $4.7 million contract renewal from the Idaho Public Employee Retirement System to continue providing a wide array of outsourced services.

Under the contract, ACS of Dallas will continue furnishing participant recordkeeping, communications and compliance services for members' 401(k) plans.

As part of the new contract, ACS also will supply consulting services that will promote the retirement system's defined contribution plan. Furthermore, ACS also will manage a participant Web site on behalf of the retirement system.

ACS and the retirement system support 680 public employers with the system's supplemental defined contribution program, thereby addressing the needs of 63,000 active members, 26,000 retirees and 18,000 inactive members.

ACS has about 58,000 employees and had annual sales of $5.3 billion in 2006. The company ranks No. 48 on Washington Technology's 2006 Top 100 list of the largest federal IT contractors.
