REDE wins $14M DOE IT award

REDE, a small 8(a) company, has been awarded a $14 million contract for information technology and telecommunications support from the Department of Energy for its Oak Ridge, Tenn., division. The contract is for one year with four one-year options.

REDE will provide integrated project management, information engineering, systems development, end-user support, and network and cybersecurity operations. The company will support all offices under the control of the Oak Ridge division, including those outside the geographic area.

The contract fulfills a request for proposals DOE issued in July 2006 that was specifically for 8(a) small businesses.
