WFI to guide Army aviation and missile support work

Wireless Facilities Inc. won a five-year, $36 million task order from the Army's Aviation and Missile Command for engineering and technical work.

Wireless Facilities Inc. won a five-year, $36 million task order from the Army's Aviation and Missile Command for engineering and technical work.

Under the task order, WFI of San Diego will furnish engineering and technical expertise in support of the command's arm that handles weapon systems and test equipment.

WFI Government Services, a WFI subsidiary, will lead a team that includes Analytical Services Inc., and LogiCore Corp., both of Huntsville, Ala.

The team also will provide technical assistance teams to support weapons systems fielded around the globe by the Army, Marine Corps, and National Guard and Army Reserve units.

WFI specializes in design, deployment, integration and management of wired and wireless networks which deliver voice and data communication, and which support advanced security systems.
