Multimax enlists for Army team IT services work

Under a newly awarded task order, Multimax Inc. will help consolidate IT services for an Army team at Fort Monmouth, N.J. The one-year contract, which has two option years, is valued at $14.3 million.
Multimax of Herndon, Va., will support 7,000 users. The scope of work includes mail messaging, desktop support and centralized help desk. Other services include Web servers, data network services and network and operations security.
The task order consolidates IT services previously performed under nine separate task orders. The company will work with prime contractor QSS Group, Inc. and with General Dynamics Corp.
The work is for the Army Team Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance headquarters at Fort Monmouth. The Army command awarded the task order through its Information Technology Enterprise Solutions contract.
