IceWeb acquires True North's fed biz

IceWeb Inc. has purchased the federal government business side of True North Solutions Inc., an information security services company.

IceWeb Inc. has purchased the federal government business side of True North Solutions Inc., an information security services company. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

IceWeb, which offers hosted software services and network infrastructure services to both the public and private sectors, will get the division's government customers and vendor relationships with Secure Computing Corp., F5 Networks Inc. and Citrix Systems Inc.

The company also will get the division's General Services Administration schedule contract and a federal pipeline for 2006 and 2007. Key employees of True North Solutions' federal government business will join IceWeb.

True North Solutions' federal government business had 2005 revenue of $28.2 million, according to IceWeb.

IceWeb of Herndon, Va., has 32 employees and had $6.8 million in revenue for the fiscal year ended Sept. 30, 2005.
