Multimax to tackle Air Force financial management work

Multimax Inc. won a four-year, $9.5 million task order to maintain the Air Force's global financial management system.

The IT and communications services company will sustain application modules for the Automatic Business Services System and deliver database administration support and help-desk support for system users.

The Air Force awarded the work to Multimax under the $9 billion Network-Centric Solutions contract vehicle, or Netcents. Multimax is a prime contractor on the program.

Multimax will perform the work next to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base at its facilities in Beavercreek, Ohio. The company's teammates are Battelle Memorial Institute Foundation of Columbus, Ohio, and Peerless Technology Corp. of Fairborn, Ohio.

Multimax or Herndon, Va., is a privately held company that provides services for federal defense and civilian agencies, state and local governments and commercial customers.

The company's federal clients include the Commerce, Energy, Health and Human Services, Homeland Security, State and Veterans Affairs departments, Federal Aviation Administration, National Security Agency and military services.
