Stanley Associates Inc. won a $34.8 million contract from the Naval Air Systems Command to render support for management of technical directive modification kits.
Stanley of Arlington, Va., will work with the Navair Kit Management Team to issue technical directive modification kits that ensure fleet installation sites have them available in a timely manner.
The company assembles, stores, receives, ships and reclaims technical directive kits. Stanley also procures parts and performs quality assurance inspections on kits during various stages of assembly.
Stanley, which has worked with Navair for the past nine years, also furnishes database management, administration and technical support services to maintain Navair's modification management tracking systems for the Central Kitting Activity.
These systems include the kit inventory tracking system, kit assembly tracking system, and reclamation asset tracking system databases to enable updates and provide complete visibility of assets.
The technical modification kits are used to support aircraft and associated support and training equipment used by Navair.
Stanley, which has about 2,300 employees at 100 locations around the world, ranks No. 58
on Washington Technology's 2006 Top 100
list of the largest federal IT contractors.
