Fast 50 deadline extended

The deadline for submitting applications for the 2006 Washington Technology Fast 50 has been extended to Aug. 18.

Companies making the list are ranked according to the growth of their government business from 2001 through 2005.

Last year's winners included companies such as Merlin Technical Solutions Inc. of Greenwood Village, Colo., which ranked No. 1 with a compound annual growth rate of 361.9 percent.

The Fast 50 list is part of Washington Technology's annual small business special report, which will be published in the Oct. 16 issue.

Washington Technology's 2005 Fast 50 list recognizes some of the most successful companies in the government market. These small businesses have experienced phenomenal growth over the past five years. Our ranking provides in-depth information about these companies and their place in the market.
