Maryland taps Tessco for wireless hardware equipment

Tessco Technologies Inc. won a contract with the Maryland Department of Budget and Management to provide state and local government agencies with wireless communication hardware equipment.

Tessco Technologies Inc. won a contract with the Maryland Department of Budget and Management to provide state and local government agencies with wireless communication hardware equipment.

The contract is estimated at $15 million, company officials said. Under it, Tessco will furnish state and local agencies with wireless antennae, transmission line and radio frequency conditioning hardware equipment as they need it.

Tessco of Hunt Valley, Md., supplies products to design, build, run and maintain wireless systems. The company offers 34,000 products from 350 manufacturers.
