Naval Research Office taps Orizon for support services

Orizon Inc. won a five-year, $3.6 million contract from the Office of Naval Research to provide systems engineering and technical assistance support services for the acquisition directorate of University Business Affairs.

Orizon's services will support the Office of Naval Research's post-award contract and grant management system, as well as other post-award administration tasks. The Rockville, Md.-based company also will perform program management, software engineering and maintenance, and technical support and implement enhancements for online projects.

Online projects include enriching MS-Access/Visual Basic/Oracle applications for performance optimization, upgradeability, and user interface improvements; and upgrading support as changes occur in the Information Technology Infrastructure, such as in LAN, Citrix/Nfuse, server or workstation hardware or software.
