Sledge to lead Robbins-Gioia

Robbins-Gioia LLC has promoted Michael Sledge to the post of president and chief operating officer.

Sledge's promotion was announced the day after former Robbins-Gioia president and CEO James Leto left the company to take the same position with GTSI Corp. as part of a restructuring of that company's executive leadership. Leto will remain on Robbins-Gioia's board, the company said.

Sledge first joined Robbins-Gioia in 1984 and has steadily risen through the ranks. Most recently, he was president for civilian agencies and homeland security.

He holds a bachelor of science in business administration from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh.

Robbins-Gioia of Alexandria, Va., specializes in management consulting services to government agencies and corporations.
