Analex nabs missile defense security support

Analex Corp. won a $7.7 million prime contract to provide security support at the Missile Defense Agency's facilities in Huntsville, Ala. The five-year contract consists of one year and four one-year options.

Analex of Fairfax, Va., will perform security operations, access control, anti-terrorism and force protection services through its Beta Analytics International Inc. subsidiary.

Analex has delivered security services to the Missile Defense Agency for more than 17 years. The new contract expands the company's support to more than 200 agency security professionals, providing security services in seven states.

Analex furnishes intelligence, systems engineering and security services to the U.S. government and major defense corporations. The company has 920 employees and had annual revenue of $94 million in fiscal 2004.
