ManTech wins Army battlefield support subcontract

ManTech International Corp. won a two-year subcontract potentially worth $300 million for various service support to the Army in Iraq and Afghanistan.
ManTech of Fairfax, Va., is the lead subcontractor to VSE Corp. of Alexandria, Va. Under the subcontract, which is for one year and one option year, ManTech will help manage logistics and repairs, system training and curriculum support, resource management, and acquisition and administrative support for specialized systems.
The contract's initial funding will be up to $30 million, with increases based on customer requirements. ManTech expects that support under the contract will include services from existing awards and additional support to customers.
ManTech has about 6,000 people and had 2004 revenue of $842.4 million. The company, which expects 2005 revenue of about $1 billion, The company ranks
