Energy re-ups analytical support contractor

Project Performance Corp. will continue its systems development and analytical program support services for the Energy Department under a five-year, $10.2 million contract.

The contract is with the department's Office of Environmental Management. The Information Technology Management and System Support contract is a continuation of more than 14 years work Project Performance, based in McLean, Va., has done for DOE.

The Office of Environmental Management is responsible for accelerated risk reduction and cleanup of the environmental legacy of the nation's nuclear weapons program and government-sponsored nuclear energy research. The office is responsible for one of the largest and technically complex environmental cleanup programs in the world.

Project Performance's staff develops and maintains information management systems, provides life cycle cost estimating and modeling support, and provides expertise in the area of earned value management and project planning and controls.
