DRC wins Navy financial systems work

Dynamics Research Corp. won a $4.4 million contract with the Naval Surface Warfare Center to provide functional and technical support for the software suite and systems that compose the Naval Sea Systems Command corporate financial systems, according to company officials. The contract has one base year and two option years.

Under the contract, DRC of Andover, Mass., will validate data content that has been migrated from the Real-time Integrated Management legacy financial system to the new Naval Sea Systems Command corporate suite of systems.

DRC also will provide administrative, accounting, help desk, test and validation, systems scheduling and interface support to these systems. Work on the project began this month.

DRC, which has 1,960 employees and annual sales of $131.3 million, ranks No. 69 on Washington Technology's 2005 Top 100 list, which measures federal contracting revenue.
