NCI snares Air Force technical support tasks

NCI Information Systems Inc. has won task orders totaling $5.6 million to provide IT services and support at various Air Force locations under the Network-Centric Solutions contract, the company announced this week.
Through the task orders, NCI of Reston, Va., will perform various systems engineering, installation, integration, operations and maintenance for standardized networking solutions that are interoperable with the Air Force, Joint and Defense Department standardized networking technical architectures.
The services will be performed at various Air Force locations, including Peterson Air Force Base, Colo.; Scott Air Force Base, Ill.; Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass.; Robbins Air Force Base, Ga.; Gunter Annex, Ala.; and Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas.
NCI offers IT, systems engineering and integration services. It has about 1,450 employees and annual sales of $171.3 million. The company ranks
