Druyun scandal sparks audits

The Defense Department inspector general will take a closer look at eight contracts that fell under the authority of Darlene Druyun, the former Air Force acquisition manager and Boeing Co. executive recently convicted of conspiracy.

A review of more than 400 deals by the Defense Contract Management Agency turned up procurement anomalies in the eight deals, officials said. Of the eight contracts facing further examination, Boeing holds four, Lockheed Martin Corp. holds two, and Accenture Ltd. and Systems and Electronics Inc. of St. Louis each hold one.
