Army shuffles IT units

In a move the Army said reflects changes in how it provides equipment to warfighters, the service has realigned three communications and electronics organizations at Fort Monmouth, N.J., to form the Communications-Electronics Life Cycle Management Command.

The new command comprises the former:

* Army Communications Electronics Command

* Program Executive Office for Command, Control and Communications-Tactical

* PEO Intelligence, Electronic Warfare and Sensors.

Maj. Gen. Michael Mazzucchi is commanding general of the newly formed group, dubbed C-E LCMC.
