Anteon wins Navy engineering, tech services deal

Anteon International Corp. has won a five-year, $69 million task order contract from the Naval Sea Systems Command to support the Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research, Development and Acquisition Chief Engineer, the company announced today.
Anteon of Fairfax, Va., will provide program management, acquisition and system engineering services to enhance integration and interoperability of Navy combat, weapons, command, control, communication, computer, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance and IT systems.
The technical services that the company will provide range from large-scale systems engineering process development and collaborative engineering to policy and standards review and development and capability assessments.
The contract was awarded under a previously announced Navsea multiple award contract with a ceiling of $14.5 billion.
Anteon offers IT and engineering solutions. The company has more than 8,600 employees and annual sales of $1 billion. The company was ranked No. 19 on Washington Technology's 2004 Top 100 list, which measures federal contracting revenue.
