CSC announces $427M in federal contracts

Computer Sciences Corp. has won 65 contracts and subcontracts worth a total of $427 million dollars since October. The company had not previously announced the wins, CSC officials said today.

Computer Sciences Corp. has won 65 contracts and subcontracts worth a total of $427 million dollars since October. The company had not previously announced the wins, CSC officials said today.

The various contracts cover time periods ranging from one month to 11 years. Civil agencies accounted for 28 of the awards for about $185 million. Defense Department agencies accounted for 37 awards valued at $242 million.

Agencies involved in the contracts include departments of Justice and Commerce and the Air Force and Army.

The IT services provided by CSC under the agreements include analysis, systems integration and modernization, consulting and engineering.

The value of the contracts is based on the amount of business CSC expects to receive if all options are exercised.
