SBA awards $13.6m system modernization deal to SRA

SRA International Inc. is going to help the Small Business Administration upgrade its Disaster Credit Management System under a $13.9 million task order.

SRA International Inc. is going to help the Small Business Administration upgrade its Disaster Credit Management System under a $13.9 million task order.

Through the three-and-a-half-year contract, the Fairfax, Va., company will modernize the system SBA users to process online loan applications to assist home and business owners who are victims of disasters. SBA wants to speed the turnaround time for the loans.

SRA will help agency workers implement new software, maintain current hardware and software, and support users and other IT operations.

SBA awarded the order through the National Institute of Health's CIO Solutions Partners 2 Innovations contract. SRA's subcontractors include Absulon Technology Partners Inc. of Reston, Va., Beckett Consulting Inc. of Falls Church, Va., and Supersolutions Corp. of Eden Prairie, Minn.
