Integic to update certification

Software developer Integic Corp. won a three-year, $12 million contract to modernize the airman certification program of the Federal Aviation Administration's Civil Aerospace Medical Institute.

The institute annually processes medical certifications for 40,000 air traffic controllers and the more than 650,000 commercial and private pilots.

Integic will support, enhance and further integrate the system that, under a previous contract, it developed for submitting, managing and processing the medical certification applications.
