Small businesses in line for Netcents contracts

MONTGOMERY, Ala.?The Air Force revealed part of its plan for the multibillion dollar Network Centric Solutions program at the Air Force IT Conference in Montgomery, Ala.

Officials said the service has issued letters of intent to award contracts for the $10 billion backbone procurement to four small businesses.

Companies that received the letters:

  • Multimax Inc. of Largo, Md.

  • Centech Group Inc. of Arlington, Va.

  • NCI Information Systems Inc. of Reston, Va.

  • Telos Corp. of Ashburn, Va.


The Air Force said it plans to award several contracts under Netcents?to both large and small businesses?for services such as engineering, software development, integration, security and telephone, as well as for voice, video and data hardware and software products.
