DHS finds procurement help

Acquisition Solutions Inc. of Oakton, Va., won a contract worth up to $5 million from the Homeland Security Department.

The company will provide acquisition support services, including helping the department establish an IT Acquisition Center of Excellence, which will bring together the expertise of DHS' procurement and technology communities.

Earlier this year, Acquisition Solutions was selected to provide acquisition support to the Justice, Homeland Security and Treasury departments for the Integrated Wireless Network program, expected to be a multibillion-dollar contract award to support homeland security.
