Anteon gets Aegis support contract

Anteon International Corp. won a 16-month blanket purchase agreement for systems engineering and program management support to the Navy's Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense Program Directorate.

Anteon International Corp. won a 16-month, $45 million blanket purchase agreement from the U.S. Navy to provide systems engineering and program management support to the Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense Program Directorate, the company said today.

Under the agreement, Anteon's services will include strategic planning for technology programs, concept development and requirements analysis, system design, engineering and integration, test evaluation and acquisition and life cycle management, the company said.

Anteon has been involved in the Navy's missile defense programs since 1993.

The Fairfax, Va., IT and systems engineering and integration company ranks No. 19 on Washington Technology's 2004 Top 100 list of federal prime contractors. The company employs more than 8,200 workers worldwide and had 2003 revenue of $1 billion.
