Arkansas re-ups EDS for Medicaid services

Electronic Data Systems Corp. has won a seven-year, $93.7 million contract renewal from the Arkansas Department of Human Services to continue supporting the state's Medicaid program, the company announced today.

EDS of Plano, Texas, will continue to operate and maintain a statewide system and network that speed information to health care providers and process Medicaid claims. The company provides services such as help desk, training seminars, onsite visits and Web functions.
