ManTech lands Naval Air Warfare Center work

ManTech International Corp. won a $49.8 million contract from the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division to provide engineering support services.

ManTech International Corp. won a $49.8 million contract from the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division to provide engineering support services, the company announced today. The one-year contract has four option years.

ManTech of Fairfax, Va., will support the Naval Air System Command engineering department by providing reliability, maintainability, testability, quality assurance, diagnostic and system safety analysis during the design, development, production and in-service cycles of naval aircraft and their systems.

The company will perform the work at Navair locations in Patuxent River, Md., Lakehurst, N.J., and Lexington Park, Md.

ManTech, a provider of IT and technical services solutions to the federal government, has about 5,000 employees and annual sales of $701.6 million, according to Hoover's Online of Austin, Texas. The company ranked No. 22 on Washington Technology's 2004 Top 100 list, which measures federal contracting revenue.
