La. wants gaming management

The Video Gaming Division of the Louisiana Department of Public Safety and Correction plans to issue a request for proposal in June for secure management of video gaming devices.

The system should be capable of central controlling, monitoring, reporting and auditing.

The vendor will be responsible for system design, support software, training, around-the-clock technical support, network connectivity, network security, and data transfer and conversion.

DB2 is the preferred choice for database support.

Federal Sources Inc., a market research firm in McLean, Va. (www.fedsources.com), compiled these opportunities.
