Anteon wins $16M support services work in Afghanistan

Anteon International Corp. won a five-year contract worth up to $16 million for engineering and installation support services to U.S. military forces in Afghanistan.

Anteon International Corp. won a five-year contract for engineering and installation support services to U.S. military forces in Afghanistan. The contract, awarded by the U.S. Central Command Air Forces, is worth $16 million if all options are exercised.

Fairfax, Va.-based Anteon's services will include upgrades to the telecommunications and information technology support infrastructure.

Anteon is also working in Southwest Asia under a three-year, $30.9 million contract for IT, engineering, logistics, personnel and security support. Under the contract, Anteon is supporting signal operations of the Army Network Enterprise Technology Command throughout Southwest Asia.
