ISR Solutions acquires Comm Group
ISR Solutions Inc. has acquired the Comm Group, a provider of systems integration services.
ISR Solutions Inc. has acquired the Comm Group, a provider of systems integration services, the company announced today. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The Comm Group of Pittsburgh offers a range of services, including turnkey design, engineering, installation, maintenance and support services to commercial and government clients.
The acquisition will enable Chantilly, Va.-based ISR to expand its geographical reach and extend its product line and service offerings to customers in Pittsburgh and throughout the country, said Joe Costa, ISR's chief executive officer.
In conjunction with the acquisition, ISR announced that it has received an $11 million equity investment, led by existing investors Carlyle Venture Partners and Fairfax Partners of McLean, Va. Carlyle Venture Partners is the venture arm of the Carlyle Group of Washington.
ISR is a provider of electronic security systems integration services, including engineering, installation, operation, management and maintenance of security solutions. ISR's government customers include the General Services Administration and National Institutes of Health.
