Stanley Associates acquires Fuentez Systems Concepts

Deal combines the advanced systems engineering, production, integration and command and control expertise of FSC with Stanley's network engineering, software and technical support capabilities.

Stanley Associates Inc. of Alexandria, Va., has acquired Fuentez Systems Concepts Inc. of Charleston, S.C., the company announced today.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The acquisition combines the advanced systems engineering, production, integration and command and control expertise of FSC with Stanley's network engineering, software and technical support capabilities.

The acquisition also is expected to boost Stanley's work with the Navy's Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command and Department of Homeland Security, the company said.

FSC has more than 260 employees and annual revenues of $45 million.

Stanley plans to keep FSC's leadership intact to strengthen its own team and to ensure a smooth transition for the company's employees and customers. Baltimore-based Legg Mason Wood Walker Inc. represented FSC in the acquisition.

Stanley Associates, a provider of information technology and professional services to the federal government, has more than 1,200 employees and annual sales of $143 million. The company was ranked No. 64 on the Washington Technology Top 100.
