Treasury taps Information Analysis for tech support

Information Analysis Inc. has won a $9.9 million contract from the Treasury Department to provide information technology services.

Information Analysis Inc. has won a $9.9 million contract from the Treasury Department to provide information technology services to support the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, the company announced today.

Under the contract, Information Analysis of Fairfax, Va., will provide IT services and enhancements to the Secure Outreach and Gateway Web System for the network. The company's tasks include systems administration and security, help desk support, Web development and maintenance, and evaluation and analysis support.

SI International Inc. of Reston, Va., a provider of applications development, network design, and systems engineering and integration, is a subcontractor on the project. Together, the two companies will expand, enhance and maintain the current system.

Information Analysis provides Web solutions, software conversion and legacy system modernization. The company has about 60 employees and annual sales of $5.8 million, according to Hoover's Online of Austin, Texas.
