Anteon wins aircraft carrier contract

Anteon International Corp. will provide program management, technology insertion, systems analysis and other services to the Navy under a $125.6 million contract.

The 12-year contract was awarded by the Navy Program Executive Office. Other services include logistics support, warfare systems analysis and strategic studies. The Fairfax, Va.-based company will provide logistics planning for in-service ships, new ship construction support, and warfare, aircraft and technology systems integration.

"This is a strategic win for Anteon," said S. Daniel Johnson, Anteon executive vice president and chief operating officer. "Navy aircraft carriers will continue to be a key element of this nation's ability to rapidly project military power worldwide."
